DYU Administrative Department

I. The Office of Academic Affairs
 
The Office of Academic Affairs consists of three units and one center, including Registration Section, Curriculum Section, Recruitment Section, and Learning & Teaching Resources and Service-Learning Center; meanwhile, two professors double as the Dean and Vice Dean of academic affairs. The center and each section have their own directors and deal with the related affairs according to their duties.

II. The Office of Student Affairs

The Student Affairs Office takes care of everything about students’ affairs, such as campus life, club activities, hygiene and health care, counseling, crisis management, disaster prevention, student diet and residency, campus safety, etc. In general, the office is responsible for student life, accommodation, counseling, and education.
All of our staff in the office positively face the challenge and deal with student affairs with caring, and loving attitudes. Our staff also actively cooperate with other staff in the university with respect to establishing the ideal educational fusion of academic affairs, disciplinary, and counseling.

III. The Office of General Affairs

The Office of General Affairs is responsible for a variety of affairs on teaching, research, or activities held on campus. The entire staff at this Office is always working hard to provide services, manage related affairs, or promote the development of the university with the spirit of support and service in the hope that a quality-teaching environment can be created for both faculty and students.

IV. The Office of Research & Development
 
The main goal of The Office of Research and Development at DYU is to integrate human resources, equipment, teaching and research among different departments in the university. Moreover, The Office of Research and Development also encourages teachers to join domestic and international academic research, it also serves as a liaison between academic and industry to initiate different kinds of science research projects from the government or non-governmental sectors. Currently, under the Office of Research and Development are the Division of Academic Research, the Division of Industry Liaison, and the Division of International Affairs. Two professors concurrently serve to be the acting director and the vice acting director in the Office of Research and Development and three heads set up in different divisions. They are dedicated to their respective responsibilities and to serve the related occupational activities with research and developments.

V. Office of Foreign Affairs
The Office of Foreign Affairs mainly coordinates all official university business requiring foreign contacts and assists all academic programs involving foreign partners. Routine tasks include communicating and negotiating with partner institutions, promoting faculty and student exchanges, and serving all incoming and currently enrolled students from other countries or from mainland China.
